One tip: Although they may cost a little bit more up front, we recommend LED lights over incandescent bulbs to all our clients. Why? Because the life span of an LED bulb is 100, 000 hours. When you compare that to the 5,000 hour lifespan of a traditional incandescent bulb, it shed a lot of light on how to keep your maintenance costs lower. A well-lit gas station or retail site is a must, but spending a lot of money on the upkeep of your lighting is not. With incandescent bulbs, the true cost of the bulb is the cost of replacement bulbs and the expenses of labor and time needed to replace them. For gas stations, restaurants and hotels, the maintenance costs to replace bulbs can be enormous. These issues can all be virtually eliminated with the LED option.
